In 1981, A. Krishna Reddy stepped into the construction sector, specializing in irrigation and railway infrastructure. Twenty-seven years later, AKR Construction Ltd. continues that legacy, combining experience, ambition, aggressive growth plans, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Our irrigation canals, distribution systems, spillways, barrages, reservoirs, railway bridges and real estate projects have reached thousands of Indians, helping them, in their own ways, to contribute to the economy as well.

Our ISO 9001-2000 certification stands witness to our process-driven quality structure. Our workforce of over 4000 employees brings together experience and knowledge from diverse fields. With 27 years of experience in various fields of civil construction, Mr. Krishna Reddy has executed major projects in the areas of irrigation, railways, roads, ports, hydro power etc.	The spouse of our Chairman and Managing Director, Mrs. Indira contributes significantly to our business through her support and guidance.	A post-graduate degree holder in Business Administration, Mr. Sashikumar Reddy has a number of years of experience in the areas of purchase and administration.

With 40 years of experience in public sector banks, Mr. Fernandes has held important portfolios as an executive for the last three decades.	A qualified chartered accountant, Mr. Srinivasa Rao has 15 years of experience in the field of finance.	A management graduate, Mr. Manoj Kumar Reddy has over 6 years of experience in the fields of tendering and business development.

A former Chief Engineer for the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Hanumanth Rao has over 40 years of experience in the construction of major irrigation projects, canals, water management systems and Mini-hydel projects.	During his experience of over 30 years in the field of construction, Mr. Jaganmohan Rao has executed major irrigation projects, dams and bridges.	A former officer with the Irrigation Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Sambasiva Rao is an Engineer of exceptional skill and with over 35 years of experience. He has worked on projects such as aqueducts, barrages, lining works, water management systems and earth bunds for the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Formerly an employee in Irrigation Department of Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Surender Reddy has over 40 years of experience in the construction of both major and minor irrigation projects, canals and water management systems.	A civil engineering graduate from KITS (Warangal), Mr. Narasimha Reddy has over 20 years of experience in irrigation projects such as canals, barrages and spillways.	Formerly an officer with the Irrigation Department of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Yella Reddy has also worked with various other Government organizations such as HUDA and APSEB, and has over 38 years of experience in the construction of irrigation and thermal projects. He is also an active member of the Hyderabad Future Development Planning group.


Md. Sattar Project Coordinator
A graduate Engineer, Mr. Sattar's experience in the construction of projects such as dams, power projects and both major and minor irrigation canals exceeds 22 years.
